Bryce Canyon Division

United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps

A Non-Profit Youth Program

Teamwork is exemplified by the culmination of unit training into flawless execution.

Cadets engage in a multifaceted training regimen, with both weekly unit training sessions and the chance to participate in intensive two-week training programs during summer and winter school breaks. Unit training encompasses a wide range of activities, including physical fitness, maintaining impeccable uniform appearance, precision drill and marching, both with and without rifles, fire-fighting skills, first-aid proficiency, semaphore signaling, line-heaving techniques, knot-tying mastery, and executing duties as part of the color guard. In addition to these practical skills, cadets are also expected to diligently complete coursework relevant to their current rank, as this coursework serves as a crucial component of their journey toward promotion.

Our two-week training sessions provide a wide range of courses, including leadership, aviation, seamanship, disaster control, Master-At-Arms, pre-SEALs, and amphibious assault

There is no greater way to build character than to expect honor, integrity and dedication in an atmosphere of challenges and high expectations.

Community Service is a vital part of our mission and requires each cadet to participate in events that shape and support the greater Los Angeles community.
